Codec for RECORD IT module

It is necessarry to have this codec installed on the computer for playback of video files created by RECORT IT module.

Installation procedure:

  1. Make sure the QuickPHOTO program is not running, if so close it.
  2. Download and run the wmv8cdcs.exe file.
  3. Information about starting the installation will appear. Continue by pressing the Yes button.
  4. Confirm the license agreement by pressing the Yes button.
  5. Installation wizard will appear. Press the Next button.
  6. Select the Reinstall all components option.
  7. Continue installing the codec by pressing the Next button.
  8. Finish the installation by pressing the Finish button.

New Cameras Supported by QuickPHOTO 

The QuickPHOTO programs newly support OLYMPUS E-3, E-520 and E-420 SLR digital cameras and 4 new models of IDS uEye USB 2.0 digital cameras. OLYMPUS E-System  SLR cameras can now be controlled from Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. The E-System SLR cameras can now be also controlled from user accounts with limited privileges in Microsoft Windows Vista/XP/2000.
